Ponder Banks and Shaw consists of Cory Ponder on drums, Brett Banks on bass, and Jeremy Shaw on guitar. Their music is built on strong melodies interspersed with heavily improvised explorations. Their sound is an eclectic mix of funk, rock, blues, jazz, country, swing and fusion. Ponder Banks and Shaw have been compared to the Dixie Dregs, Wayne Krantz, and the Aquarium Rescue Unit. Their 2004 debut release, PBS, is entirely instrumental, highlighting their passion for improvisational rock, jazz, and fusion. Ozone Quartet is an instrumental rock-fusion band based in Raleigh, NC. Their sound is compared by critics and fans to progressive rock-fusion pioneers, King Crimson, Dixie Dregs, and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Despite these comparisons, Ozone Quartet’s music is totally unique. The group's CD releases have received critical acclaim by the worldwide progressive rock community and international radio airplay. The line-up for this recording is Wayne Leechford on Chapman Stick, Hollis Brown on electric violin, Jeremy Shaw on guitar, and Fran Dyer on drums.

Boston based Neptune Ensemble performed throughout the northeast from 1994 until 1998. This trio shared the stage with numerous acts including Moonboot Lover, Schleigho, The Jazz Mandolin Project, Shockra, and others. The original line-up included G. Love and Special Sauce bassist Jim Prescott, and former Shockra drummer Jonathan Able. The final line-up, as represented on this cd, consisted of Jeremy Shaw on guitar and vocals, Jonathan Robinson on bass and vocals, and Marc Gratama on drums and vocals.

The Scott McCloud Group is an instrumental funk/jazz project in the style of Galactic, Soulive, and the Funky Meters. It includes bandleader Scott McCloud on tenor sax, Wurlitzer, Rhodes and B-3 Organ, Jeremy Shaw on guitar, and Greenlight members Dustin Hofsess on bass, and Adam Snow on drums.
